My name is Taylor. I'm 17 and tackling anything that life throws at me. Whatever it may be from academics to athletics to life at home, there's something going on that I have to be a part of. Some people would call me over involved, others a perfectionist. Maybe I'm just that person in between?

As I get older, I become more familiar with what it means to be alive; to experience life, enjoy it. But, I also realize what a responsibility it is and how much you have to care for it. I have come to realize that you shouldn't go through life thinking only of yourself; that there are others out there that need an open ear, a warm hug, or maybe just a good laugh. And if anyone can provide at least one of those to everyone, think of how much of a better place we would be in. Now, I am no philosopher, or rocket scientist, but doesn't it seem logical to treat everyone with the same love and respect as we treat ourselves?
